I have been hearing many great things from OSKIA which has peeked my interest! I found that it is a British beauty brand that has been naturally formulated. It specialises in bio-cellular skin nutrition to boost that glowy skin that we are all looking for. They are a winner of over 110 international awards to date including Best British Brand and Best Global Natural Brand so I decided to try them out first hand!

I tried out three products from award winning nutri-cosmeceutical British cult skincare brand, OSKIA.

The name OSKIA derives from the Ancient Greek for ‘delivering nutrients’ & ‘beauty’ - and this is what inspires us everyday

The brand’s products are based around the skincare benefits of MSM (methyl sulfonyl methane), a natural form of organic sulphur, which founder Georgie Cleeve witnessed as an effective supplement for the joints and skin.

OSKIA’s formulated with much thought in the creation of products which are efficient and focused on making the skin healthier. A combination of nature and science, the products are all plant based and packed with vitamins, minerals, proteins and omegas and promised to improve the skin’s cellular activity, delivering a beautiful, healthy and glowing complexion.

Oskia Renaissance Mask

My first contact with the brand was this Mask. Applied after face wash, this mask works like a peel and spa for the face - pink at first and foamed as white when massages on the face. The thick balm like product contains microbeads which give it a luxurious texture, exfoliating the skin.

I did see my skin turn smoother after using it for about two weeks, three times a week. My skin gets pretty dry after long hours under office air conditioning so my skincare routine always includes a dermabrasion step, be it with an exfoliating gauze pad or with an exfoliating wash / mask.

I like that this is an in-shower step, saves me the need for me to go back to the shower to wash off my mask.

This mask is a nutri-active radiance, brightening & resurfacing mask, with ingredients of MSM (of course), Passion Fruit, Grape, Lemon & Grapefruit AHA's, Papaya Enzymes, Swiss Garden Cress Liposomes, Prebiotics, Ribose & Butterbur.

Oskia Super 16 Serum & Bedtime Beauty Boost

The Super 16 Serum boast 16 amazing ingredients ( as its name suggests) , nutrients and bioactives designed to activate the skin’s collagen production, regenerating and combating aging problems. The key ingredient, Bakuchiol, is a rising beauty ingredient and natural equivalent to our favorite age-defying ingredient, Retinol.

The dropper tool in the product makes application easy and the formula is lightweight and easily absorbed by the skin. I apply it after my usual application of toner.

Following the Super 16 serum, I slap on a thick layer of the Bedtime Beauty Boost. Your girl here loves a good sleeping moisturizer as it effectively works on my skin as my cells regenerate while I’m asleep. Furthermore a good hydrating mask is great to replenish the moisture and suppleness of my skin after being under air-conditioning for very long hours.

The Bedtime Beauty Boost is a very thick white cream and it has impressed me with its effectiveness. In Singapore’s weather, some might find this cream too moisturizing but I’d highly recommend it for people with dry skin or people who sleep under cold air conditioning. I also found that it works slightly better with the Super 16 Serum, probably because two great products double up in effectiveness.

The product promises to “stimulate the skin’s natural regeneration process, iron out the appearance of wrinkles, reduce age spots and give skin a naturally radiant, youthful glow”, which, after trying, does hold true, especially in the parts of regeneration.
