Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme Rich Deep-Conditioning Treatment 75ml

Was so excited to try this. Got the 'regular' version as well. This one worked slightly better in my opinion but could be because of my damaged bleached hair. Overall while nice to use I don't think the results wowed me enough to repurchase. Still on the hunt for the perfect mask for my hair type :)

Recently I've ordered Philip Kingsley Body and Shine Try Me Kit to try out elasticizer. For my hair there is no difference between regular and extreme elasticizer, same effect. So next time I will order just elasticizer. I think this will be my product for life, like Audry used it.

A friend raved about this product and nagged me into buying it as I was complaining about my over processed/frequently straightened/highlighted/porous/dry hair, which has been snapping off lately and leaving me with visible breakage. Every time I washed and blow dried, I was getting 1" long bits of broken hair falling into my lap, despite changing my hair brush, deep conditioning, turning the heat down on the drier, taking multi vitamins etc. I had taken to using hair spray after straightening to try and "glue" broken, flyaway strands down!! I have used the Elasticizer 3 times so far, applying it and leaving overnight and then washing out in the morning. Even after the first application, the amount of breakage when I was blow drying was reduced by about 75%. My hair is also softer and more pliable. My friends say it is also more shiny. I usually need to apply liberal amounts of serum even after deep conditioning to smooth down the frizz. However, I blow dried yesterday, applied a small amount of serum (out of habit) and then realised I had made my hair too greasy!! I wish I had discovered this product years ago. It's going to be a long haul growing out my breakage but I have had a good think about what I was doing to my hair and I am very thankful I have found this product. I plan to try more products in the range. The serums I was using smoothed it temporarily but I never felt that they were actually penetrating the hair shaft or making any long term difference, whereas this product does. Also, a little of this product goes a long way. Thank you!

Excellent product, only used twice so far but the difference it has made to my long dried hair is outstanding, also the shine and softness it gives is brilliant !! A must have hero product won't be without now x

I bought the small size to try out the product before committing to the large tub. I am currently growing out my relaxer, so my hair needs special attention during the transitioning process. The first time I used this product I hated it, when I blow-dried it made my hair so hard and felt dry. I had followed it with the Philip Kingsley Daily Defence Extreme Spray too. The second time though my hair feels so soft. I didn't apply on damp hair this time I used it on dry hair - followed with my usual Keracare shampoo and conditioner, the the defence spray (I used a lot less than the first time, just a few squirts on the ends). I don't know if I got this result because the week before I used the Moroccan Oil hydrating treatment (which works MIRACLES on my relaxed hair). I am alternating between the two each week so my hair gets protein, then a moisture treatment). But what ever the reason is my hair feels lovely. I think I can get one more usage out the tube before it finishes. Then I will decide if I will repurchase the big tub.

What an amazing product my hair feels so replenished and nourished after using it. It doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy afterwards like most treatments do. I wish I would have bought the larger size now!

I tried this on my chemically straightened, dyed, heat-abused hair, and it is amazing. Where my hair was visibly damaged, coarse and frizzy, it is now soft, supple and in immaculate condition. I will be making a repeat purchase and buying a bigger tub next time. It has become my essential hair product and I wouldn't be without it. In terms of how I use it, don't follow the instructions that came with the product. Instead I put it on dry hair, concentrating on the mid-length and ends, then tie my hair up and go for a run, which takes about an hour. I wash it out in the shower after my run, then shampoo and condition as normal. I do this three times per week. You don't need to go for a run, but put it on dry hair and leave it for as long as possible.

This Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme is excellent, it has brought the mojo back to my hair! I used to think I have a head of straw especially since I got to fifty years old. Thank you Philip Kingsley, I would definitely recommend it.

This Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme is amazing, it truly has helped my hair in a short space of time. You feel the difference in the first wash.
