I'm always looking out for shampoos without any sulphates in them. I have very fine hair, which is highlighted, styled in a jaw length bob, so I look for shampoos that don't damage hair, or strip it of colour, and most importantly, I have to have plenty of body, bounce and volume. So when I saw this in the sale, and at a good price for the three products, I decided to order it. I'm glad I did. On my first wash, I noticed my hair was thicker. I didn't know how much to use, and it doesn't tell you on the bottle. So used a 10p piece size. Then followed up with the conditioner, which was nice and thick. What I did like particularly, is that you can lock the lids on the bottle, so great for travelling. The styling spray gave my hair some extra body and bounce. So overall I would definitely buy these products again, if they are within my price range. But I have plenty left, so won't need to buy any more yet.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Alterna Bamboo hair care line.... initially received the Bamboo Volume Shampoo and Conditioner as samples; am now purchasing the full size products. I'm 45 and my hair has plagued me throughout the years with its thin, brittle, and frizzy texture. No more!! Alterna has not only calmed the beast but has left my hair wonderfully bouncy, shiny, healthy, and FULL. Can't say enough good things about this product; am buying again and would absolutely recommend. The only con that I can think of is that it seems to be fairly strongly scented, so for those with allergies/sensitivies it may be a bit bothersome. I have a million allergies myself, and as such would prefer it not be so strongly scented... however, all of its amazing benefits well outweigh this one factor. Enjoy your beautiful, silky tresses!!

Having just used this trio for the first time I can say that my hair been transformed! My frizzy curly hair is now soft, volumized and the texture is amazing. I am looking forward to trying more Alterna products.
