Formulated to provide mild exfoliation, the Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Superficial Peeling Formulation from The Ordinary promotes a smoother, more evenly-toned complexion. The serum is fortified lactic acid, an exfoliating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), to help improve the appearance of pigmentation, uneven skin tone and texture.
The addition of a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative helps to minimise the risk of inflammation and sensitivity, often associated with acid use. Topped with hyaluronic acid, the serum supports the skin's ability to attract and retain moisture.
Contraindications: Lactic Acid should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

Love it!
I had wanted to buy the AHA/BHA peel, but it was out of stock so bought the lactic acid instead. No regrets! Skin felt a little tingly after the first application, but it's been fine since, Skin is noticeably clearer after 2 days. Some of the skin bumps look like they've evened out. Overall, very happy with this product.

Strong but not irritating
Im pregnant so bought this as it is safe to use and I love it!! It gives me little itchiness when apply at night, but glowy skin in the morning. I use this twice per week and will stick to this routine. This is a re-purchase product for me for sure

Unveil the softest baby skin ever
I started with the 5% and worked my way up to this bad boy and so far the results have been amazing. I use it alternatively to The Ordinary's retinoid (2%,GA) and I'm loving the results. Skin has less pesky bumps and my skin which is prone to redness is calm as a baby. I've also seen significant results with my pores, and it gives my skin an overall calm, smooth velvety finish that I haven't seen in months during these hot months!

Great product
I've been using lactic acid 5% for about 6 weeks and I saw some positive differences. But this product worked better and my skin looks and feels great. There's a tiny bit of stinging but it subsides after a minute. It's an amazing product, definitely worth re-purchasing!
